10.15.05 - Marc Pachter, Director of the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery, in Washington, DC, selected Eye Sore by David for special recognition as part of "Face Value," a juried fine art competition and exhibition. This is one of just 13 portraits of the over 700 submissions to the international competition
08.03.05 - A photograph by David Mejias will be part of a featured editorial spread in the Design Annual anthology of Communication Arts - one of the most prestigious recognitions a photographer can receive. David's photograph was for a story on one-armed comic Don Becker, which appeared in the Feb 05 issue of 5280 Magazine.
